Dr Alkhaffaf was very thorough from my first consultation appointment all the way to my follow up visit. He was very attentive and explained every step of the way, answering any queries I had. Mr Al-khaffaf was my consultant/surgeon recently when I was diagnosed with gallstones and subsequently had my gallbladder removed. During my first appointment with him he explained the function of the gallbladder, the reasons why gallstones form and what happens after the removal of the gallbladder in the short and longer term. He answered my questions, communicated clearly and I understood his explanations. He told me right away that I would require surgery and he explained how the operation would be undertaken (keyhole surgery) as well as the process from my first appointment, pre-op assessment, operation and follow up appointment. After the operation he came to the ward to see me and I appreciated this very much as I had been quite ill. I received a first class service. Mr Al-khaffaf was very courteous and I never felt rushed during my two appointments with him. My whole experience was excellent and I would certainly recommend him and the service I received.

From start to end this was a positive experience. Like any operation you are apprehensive but I was put at ease from the beginning and the surgery itself was excellent. For a hernia I had very little bruising or pain and no side effects. I could not have hoped for a better result and was back to doing everything normally within less than 2 weeks. I hope I don't need another but if I do I know who to go to. I can honestly say there is nothing I would want to improve or change in the end to end process

Mr. Alkhaffaf carried out a hernia operation on me at the BMI Alexander Hospital. I felt that everything from first consultation, the operation and final consultation was first class. Mr. Alkhaffaf was friendly, re-assuring and I felt completely at ease with him which made the whole experience as stressless as could be hoped. I would certainly highly recommend him.
